Helping Elders Live in Place
This month’s community has it all, Helping Elders Live in Place (HELP) is located in Rangely Maine. A part of the Rangely Health and Wellness system, HELP identifies and advocates on behalf of the elders in their community, facilitates dialogues on aging, and helps elders stay connected with the community. They are a hub for activity, learning and resources. Their services include helping with transportation, an intergenerational repairs program, fitness and health initiatives, a daily phone call program and much more. Check out their page to learn about their great work.
