Asset mapping provides information about the strengths and resources of your community and can help uncover solutions to some of the challenges faced by older residents. After looking at all of the assets your community has for aging in place–including walkability, convenience of local shopping, the built and natural environment, shopping and other services–your age-friendly initiative can more easily think about how to build on the capacity of other organizations and can identify partnership for your work.
