Over the past year and half, we’ve learned together just how important social connections are to our overall wellness – for older adults and younger people alike. According to a survey, 92% of Americans believe activities bringing together children/youth and older adults can reduce loneliness across all ages. Creating opportunities for social connection among mixed aged groups helps to cultivate a sense of purpose with benefits for all generations involved. Join us on Tuesday, August 24th to hear from a variety of programs that are offering mixed age opportunities to encourage connection, joy, and address community needs through art, nature and companionship.
