Transportation to medical appointments, errands, social gatherings, or to participate in community life is essential for people to thrive in the community.
General Transportation
These programs provide rides to non-emergency medical appointments as well as for other reasons. Volunteer program may have a paid rides coordinator but depend solely on volunteers to provide rides. Some age friendly programs have partnered with another organization to expand an existing rides program to their residents.
